Bundy is a four year old mixed bully breed with a lot of love for his human friends. He attends obedience classes twice a week and easily wins over even the most cautious guests in his owner, Tyler’s, home.
Bundy is dog reactive and as such, one of the classes he attends is specifically tailored to help with this. It is his general obedience class, however, in which Bundy has run into issues.
Due to his reactivity, Bundy is kept muzzled both for his protection and for that of the other dogs present. Being a responsible owner, Tyler has no problem with this.
What she does take offence to, however, is that while there are two other reactive dogs present, Bundy is the only one who is actually required to wear a muzzle.
Tyler feels that Bundy has been singled out due to his appearance, as one of the trainers went out of their way to point out that dog reactivity is “very common” among Pit Bulls which is what they feel Bundy “obviously is”.
To add context, the other two dog reactive animals in the class are a Jack Russell type and a Cavalier type.

One night Maci kept trying to get up on the table out the back so his mummy put him up there.
He then proceeded to sit there like ‘Yes, this pleases me. Good human.’
Who could say no to that face?
As anyone who knows me or my work knows, animal rights and welfare are topics that are very close to my heart. Harley, the little dog with a big dream, made a massive impact on these topics and although he has crossed the rainbow bridge he will be forever in our hearts.
This article is a tribute to him and all that he has done.
It’d be really appreciated if you could have a look at his stuff which is linked to in my article. He’s a really special fur baby and he’ll forever be missed.
Maci has always been great for cuddles.
One of my favourite things to do when I lived with my old housemate was sit out the back snuggled up with him while I had my morning coffee.
Kitten + Decoration = Cuteness
The green blur you can see is actually a decorative butterfly that my old housemate had on her bookshelf. My other housemate’s rescue kitten decided it made a good play thing.
My mum and myself found this little bird in our backyard one morning.
He didn’t want to stay still for a photo so I decided to just go with it and make the image sort of artistic.
Lately my housemates and myself have been hearing strange noises in our backyard.
A couple of nights ago, I found the culprit.
I present to you: Theodore the Backyard Possum.
He comes right up to the table which he have near our back door.
This is Stumpy – Stumpy has an attitude problem.
As the name suggests Stumpy is a Stumpy-tailed lizard (also known as a Shingleback), a type of blue-tongue lizard. I found him in my parent’s backyard.
These are my old housemate’s rescue dogs.
She rescued Maci and Bumbi together and they’re such beautiful fur-babies.
