Hello friends, followers and anyone else who may be reading this.

My name is Jessica – but you can call me Jess.

I hold a Bachelor of Mass Media and Communication majoring in Journalism at La Trobe University, Australia and a Diploma of Mass Media and Communication from which I graduated at the top of my class.

I have previously operating as a Chief of Staff at Upstart Magazine as well as a writer for Society19 in both their university and city categories and have approximately a decade worth of content creation experience.

Most of my pieces will be related to events that are in the news at the time or current affair topics but you can also expect some soft news and posts about other things that interest me.

One of these things is animal welfare issues. There will be a strong focus on this topic as I am very passionate about it and believe that there should be more media coverage and general social discourse when dealing with such a large problem.

Other than that I’ll mostly just be discussing things to do with society and life in general and sharing photos I’ve taken under my brand JMPJ Photography.
